NGK BR7EIX iridium spark plug with noise suppression and long thread, compatible with various mopeds and small motorcycles.
This spark plug is compatible with the following mopeds: Alpa Cross 2000, Alpa Grand Sport, Alpa Cristall 50/2, Alpa Panda, Cilo Cross, KTM GTX 503, Pony GT Cross, Pony GTA, Pony GTX, Pony Junior 50/2, Pony Junior 503, Puch Maxi S, Puch Maxi N, Puch Maxi N Chopper, Puch Maxi Plus, Puch X30 Sport NS / NL, Puch X30 Velux, Puch Supermaxi, Sachs Rixe 50/2, Sachs Turbo, Sachs 503, etc. Among other models, long-thread spark plugs from Malossi (as of 2021) are installed in Piaggio mopeds with 43- or 46-mm cylinder heads.
Iridium spark plugs feature an iridium alloy tip on the center electrode. The precious metal iridium does not melt until it reaches 2450 °C and is therefore highly resistant to spark erosion. The service life of these spark plugs is twice as long as that of conventional spark plugs. The 0.6 mm thin center electrode significantly reduces the ignition voltage requirement and contributes to improved flame front propagation in the combustion chamber.
Note: For official MFK approval, the ignition system must include a noise-suppressed component. This spark plug is noise-suppressed and can therefore be used on public roads in combination with a non-noise-suppressed spark plug connector.
