A racing variator from Pinasco for your Piaggio Ciao, Si, Bravo, or Boxer moped with a variator drive.
This variator impresses with its clean workmanship and, thanks to its optimized roller tracks and pitch angles, ensures consistent acceleration and a higher top speed than the original.
In terms of performance, the three racing variators from Polini, Malossi, and Pinasco are very closely matched. Even after countless test kilometers, we were unable to detect any significant differences.
The package includes 6-gram weights. For tuning, however, we recommend a set with a wider selection of weights (16 x 13 mm). In tuned engines, the belt also tends to slip, so we recommend replacing the counterpressure spring in the variator at the same time. This is also included in the package.
If you ride a Piaggio Ciao, you should use the Bosch V-belt (Part No. 29570) instead of the Polini drive belt (Part No. 24013), as the Polini belt is too narrow at the top.
