Special electronic capacitor for the breaker ignition system on your moped, scooter, or small motorcycle.
The CDI box uses the breaker only as a timing signal source and simultaneously replaces the capacitor. Problems with worn breaker contacts and low-quality capacitors are now a thing of the past. In addition, your ignition coil can generate higher voltages, which has a positive effect on the maximum RPM in heavily modified engines.
Using the rotary unit built into the ignition module, the ignition timing can be adjusted as needed.

Advantages of the electronic ignition module:

- Higher RPMs possible than with conventional contact ignition
- Easy way to install a shut-off switch or kill switch
Installation:
- Mount the box near the external ignition coil, e.g., on the engine bolt
- Remove the capacitor from your contact ignition
- Connect the breaker to a new wire and route it to the outside. Connect this wire to the right-hand terminal of the module. Be sure to disconnect or remove any other wires that may still be connected to the breaker.
- Connect a wire to ground (e.g., to the frame) from the second terminal from the right on the module.
- Extend or connect a new wire to the pulse coil, route it separately to the outside, and connect it to the third terminal from the right.
- Connect the fourth terminal from the right to your external ignition coil.
Notes: The breaker gap remains at 0.4–0.5 mm. Pay attention to the cable routing within the ignition system to ensure that the cables are not damaged by the rotating flywheel. Your light coil continues to supply the same voltage as before, so there is no need to replace your light bulbs.
The CDI module does not produce clean ignition sparks at RPMs below 700, so this ignition box is primarily suitable for tuned to heavily tuned engines.
