Solid-flange crankshaft for Puch E50 engines installed in Puch Maxi S / N mopeds.
The crankshaft is made of forged steel, making it tougher and more durable than standard crankshafts.
To ensure perfect balancing and pre-compression of the crankshaft, the balancing bores are sealed with tungsten plugs.
The connecting rod eye has a diameter of 17 mm. This allows for the use of different needle bearings depending on whether a 12, 13, or 14 mm piston pin is used.
Due to the stroke of only 39.3 mm, almost any scooter cylinder can be installed on the Puch E50 engine with the help of appropriate spacers.
Thanks to the shorter stroke, much higher RPMs can be achieved, which offers various advantages, especially with the 1-speed automatic engine.
It is also possible to build a 50 cc square-stroke engine using this racing crankshaft.
