The moped clutch - central drive component
When driving your mopeds, the clutch has the important task of enabling or briefly interrupting the flow of power from the engine to the transmission. While the transmission shaft is stationary in first gear when the clutch is pulled, the engine power is gradually transferred to the rear wheel via the intermediate gearbox when the clutch is engaged. The connection between the engine and transmission is also briefly interrupted by the clutch during upshifts and downshifts in order to reach the next gear. Because they are used so often, you should regularly check all components of this assembly for signs of wear.
