The silent rubber sits between the frame and the rear suspension of your scooter and ensures that the suspension strut is mounted correctly. Over time, the rubber element becomes porous, which is often noticeable in the form of a spongy ride. It is therefore advisable to replace this buffer at the latest when changing to a new shock absorber. This will ensure that the rear shock absorber is correctly mounted again and unwanted play is avoided.
