41 mm gray cast iron racing cylinder with Latin American flair and 57 ccm displacement for your Puch X30 Velux and X30 NG-2AH moped.
The valve timing profile of this tuning cylinder has been deliberately kept low, resulting in exceptionally strong torque in the lower RPM range.
Thanks to the generous sealing surface, unlike many other cylinder kits, no additional casting is required to close the slot on the housing. To install the cylinder on the ZA50-G engine, the housing may need to be reamed. If you want to install it on small motorcycles with a DS, MV, MS, or VZ (EX50) engine, it is necessary to ream the housing.
Differences between the Sombrero Velux cylinder and the original BADASS cylinder:
- The GPO piston used has a longer intake timing, thereby allowing for slightly higher RPMs
- GPO piston with L-ring
The Sombrero loves the nightlife and, in addition to tequila, also enjoys a bit more gas. During his last trip to the disco, he discovered his fondness for particularly large-bore 17 mm carburetors and powerful resonance flutes. For a long-lasting party, you’ll find both in the accessories section.
Note: For easy installation, we recommend using 26 mm stud bolts for the intake manifold and M6 nuts with a reduced wrench size. You’ll find both in the optional accessories. Please observe the installation direction during assembly. The piston is installed with the arrow pointing toward the exhaust on the exhaust side.
